[Gsc-hca-family] [Gsc-hca-all] GSC Housing and Community Affairs Meeting this Wed 9/9

Dear HCA committee, dorm officers, and department reps,


The next GSC Housing and Community Affairs (HCA) committee meeting
will be held this Wednesday, September 9th at 6pm in the GSC office
(50-220).

The HCA committee deals with a wide range of student life issues at
MIT such as housing, residential life, transportation, families,
health, dental insurance, stipends, cost of living and other policy
issues. It is the advocacy group of the MIT graduate student
government.  Those who are interested in policy issues are encouraged
to attend and participate in our monthly meetings.

We strongly encourage dorm officers and any interested department reps
to attend this meeting.  As always, dinner will be provided.  We will
talk about the usual topics (there's always something going on with
dental insurance and transportation these days...), but in addition,
Michelle Sander (our Educational Outreach Subcommittee Chair) will be
talking about the GSC's new collaboration with Science Club for Girls.
 If you have any other items you'd like to add to the agenda, please
let us know by Wednesday.
