to graduate students and their families (spouses/partners/kids). It

You are cordially invited to the fifth annual MIT Club of Boston Summer 
BBQ. The BBQ will take place at the Sidney-Pacific dormitory courtyard 
on Saturday, August 6, from 12 - 4pm. It will be a family-friendly event 
with lots of carnival attractions such as face painting, cotton candy, 
popcorn, spin art, and a moonwalk for kids and adults! You might even 
catch the MIT beaver stopping by! So bring the kids; bring the whole 
family! Come out and meet your fellow classmates or those new neighbors 
down the hall. Make new friends or catch up with old ones. There will be 
great company and an opportunity to meet many new faces. And of course 
we will have lots of good food, everything you can find in a good old 
summer BBQ. So come and celebrate summer with the MIT Club of Boston, 
and find out what else the club has to offer in the future! Seeking 
volunteers for face painting, set-up and cooking. If you are interested,

free for members and families of members, newly admitted students and 
families, and graduate students. $5.00 for non members. Rain date: 
Sunday, August 7. Directions: Sidney-Pacific dormitory is located at 70 
Pacific Street, two blocks behind the Hotel at MIT (Closest T stop is 
Central Square red line. Driving: from campus, take Massachusetts Avenue 
towards Cambridge, take a left onto Landsdowne Street, the dorm is four 
blocks on the left). Free parking is available in the nearby MIT Pacific 
Lot, located at the intersection of Pacific St and Albany St. This event 
is sponsored jointly by the MIT Club of Boston, Sidney-Pacific, and the 
MIT Graduate Student Office.
