Hi families,

Alicia Hunt, who runs the housing lottery, has some important 
information about 2-bedrooms in Eastgate and Westgate for those of you 
who would like to live on-campus starting this summer or in the fall. 
See the message below. Please note that you cannot be fined for putting 
yourself on the waiting list, even if an apartment becomes available and 
you turn it down. If you would like some more information, you can

 Boston Club hosts free BBQ/carnival; families welcome

to graduate students and their families (spouses/partners/kids). It

You are cordially invited to the fifth annual MIT Club of Boston Summer 
BBQ. The BBQ will take place at the Sidney-Pacific dormitory courtyard 
on Saturday, August 6, from 12 - 4pm. It will be a family-friendly event 
with lots of carnival attractions such as face painting, cotton candy, 
popcorn, spin art, and a moonwalk for kids and adults! You might even 
catch the MIT beaver stopping by! So bring the kids; bring the whole 
family! Come out and meet your fellow classmates or those new neighbors 
down the hall. Make new friends or catch up with old ones. There will be 
great company and an opportunity to meet many new faces. And of course 
we will have lots of good food, everything you can find in a good old 
summer BBQ. So come and celebrate summer with the MIT Club of Boston, 
and find out what else the club has to offer in the future! Seeking 
volunteers for face painting, set-up and cooking. If you are interested,

blocks on the left). Free parking is available in the nearby MIT Pacific 
Lot, located at the intersection of Pacific St and Albany St. This event 
is sponsored jointly by the MIT Club of Boston, Sidney-Pacific, and the 
MIT Graduate Student Office.

TCC and the Center for Work, Family, and Personal Life is pleased to 
announce that a parent cooperative child care center, offering reduced 
tuition in exchange for parent help, will be piloted at Westgate for the 
coming 2005-2006 academic year.  Please see the attached flyer for
