Hello Everyone,

This is just a friendly reminder that we will be holding our May GSC DEI general meeting today at 5 PM ET in-person in 4-145 and over zoom (see email below for zoom invitation). The agenda is also in the previous email below.

If you purchase food to eat for the meeting, you can submit a reimbursement for up to $20 (excluding tax). Instructions will be sent out to those who attend the meeting.

Hello Everyone,

GSC DEI will be holding our final general meeting of the semester next Monday, May 1st at 5 PM in room 4-145 and over Zoom (invitation is copied at the end of this email). I will send a calendar invite shortly.

We will be voting on who will take on the GSC DEI Chair, Vice Chair of Student Life, and Treasurer positions during this meeting. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for any of these positions, please fill out this form: https://tinyurl.com/GSCDEINominate. No experience is required to take on any of these positions. FYI, we are still looking for a nomination for the Vice Chair of Student Life position!

In addition to voting, we will also discuss:

  *   ongoing work regarding conference recruiting best practices
  *   debrief events:
     *   Grad Food Resource Fair
     *   International Student Fest (happening tomorrow night-RSVP here: https://forms.gle/z3ySe7iVF4SePCf36)
  *   upcoming events, activities, and other updates
  *   any feedback you all have for the new officer team to note as they transition into their roles

As always, GSC DEI will reimburse those who attend the meeting up to $20 (excluding tax) for food. MIT requires food be purchased before the meeting in order to be eligible for reimbursement. Additional instructions will be sent to attendees after the meeting has concluded.
