Hi everyone!



Thanks to everyone who came to our Conduit Meet and Greet on Wednesday! We had engaging discussion, including: hiring DEI officers, town halls [where faculty just listen!], and leveraging alumni + outside consultants to keep departmental DEI committees accountable. The next Conduit interdepartmental discussion will be Thursday, 10/8, at 5pm. Zoom link here<https://mit.zoom.us/j/94939466402>. We will continue holding these discussions on a biweekly basis throughout the semester.


We will also be hosting a GSC DEI Town Hall on Faculty Hiring and Grad Admissions next Wednesday, 9/30, at 5pm! We will discuss best practices in grad admissions and faculty hiring as well as recent reforms that have been made in these areas in some of our departments.
