Dear students,****

We would like to announce the release of the *final
report*<http://web.mit.edu/committees/ptac/files/PTAC%20Public%20Report.pdf>of
the
*Presidential Transition Advisory
Cabinet*<http://web.mit.edu/committees/ptac/index.html>(PTAC).

PTAC was formed in the summer of 2012 and was charged with providing the
student perspective to President Reif as he developed a vision for the
Institute. This body consisted of four undergraduate and four graduate
students selected through the GSC and UA nominations process and met with
President Reif regularly throughout the Fall of 2012. The final report aims
to summarize the findings this body presented to President Reif in those
meetings.****
We thank the community for its support and are pleased to announce the
creation of the *Presidential Advisory Cabinet
(PAC)*<http://gsc.mit.edu/committees/nb/call-for-applications-2013-2014-institute-committee/>,
a new body charged with providing student feedback to the President over
the coming year. If you would be interested in serving on this committee as
