The Volunteer Consulting Group
*What*: The VOLUNTEER CONSULTING GROUP (VCG) is organized by the consulting
club at MIT (CCM) to give graduate students valuable experience and
introduce them to consulting work. You will do a project in a small team
with one of three local companies on a real business problem they have.
*When*: The program will run for 6 weeks starting June 24, 2013.
*Where*: The meetings usually take place at MIT and/or at the company
(Boston/Cambridge area).

   - After a first week of preparation (consulting/mini-MBA seminar and
   meeting with CEO of the company), you will need to commit a few hours per
   week for the following 5-week period of time, including two weekly
   meetings, one with the team and one with the host company.****
   - Every MIT graduate student or postdoc can apply for VCG, to gain
   experience volunteering with a start-up company on a business consulting
   project.****
   - This year CCM proposes 3 VCG host-companies: Strohl Medical (New
   Product), SMTP Inc. (M&A), Kodiak Solid (Industry Analysis).****
