WHOI Communication Workshop

- BIG also presents a two-part communication workshop with communication
professional Linda Pogue.
- In the first session Ms. Pogue will present techniques she has
developed for conveying complex scientific information to a public audience.
- Following the first session, participants will prepare a five-minute
talk (no visuals) about science for an audience of their choice.
- During the second session, attendees will deliver their talk and
receive feedback based on the techniques presented in the first session.
- Please email BIG_leadership at mit.edu for a workshop worksheet. We are
limiting participation to the first 20 people to submit completed
worksheets.
