   - Do you want to be part of Team Orientation 2012? Do you like designing
   and putting your creative skills to use?
   - Help design the Orientation 2012 logo that will be seen by thousands
   of your fellow MIT students (and get a gift card if your design is chosen)!
   - Design criteria: (1) The logo must contain the MIT colors (see
here<http://web.mit.edu/graphicidentity/colors/index.html>and
   here <http://gsc.mit.edu/orientation2011/>); (2) Submit 2 versions: (i)
   a high-resolution 600 ppi version for color laser printing and (ii) a
   low-resolution 100 ppi version for web rendering; (3) Images and fonts
   should preferably be vector graphics rendered for scalability; (4) Max.
   file size 300 kB for web logo; (5) Image size should not exceed 200 px
   height for web rendering; (6) Acceptable file formats include .gif, .png,
   or .tiff
   - By submitting an entry to this competition, you agree to surrender
   copyright, without reservation, and grant all inclusive rights to the GSC
   to share, distribute and use the logo materials and their derivative works
   in web, print, fabric and all other media (digital or print), without

   - The Orientation Fellow supports the GSC's Graduate Student Orientation
   (GSO) by helping plan and execute events and by coordinating with external

   - The Fellow also serves as a liaison between GSC Leadership and
   administration, and authors a report on the successes and areas of
   improvements for the annual GSO
   - The appointed period is June 15 through October 15. The Fellow is
   expected to be available and on campus for the majority of the summer and
   beginning of fall
