- Send a letter to congress to prevent research and education budget cuts

- The GSC is coordinating a Boston-wide effort to increase student
participation with our elected representatives.
- They are focusing especially on science and education funding
and on increasing access to published papers
- Advocacy training sessions running the week of May 16-20.

3 What: Le Fete - A night of live music, food, drinks and entertainment!
3 When: Saturday, May 21 6:00pm - 11:00pm
3 Where: Edgerton House Courtyard; 143 Albany St.
(Rain location: Hulsizer Room, New Ashdown)
- Come celebrate springtime at the annual La Fete event, hosted by Edgerton House
- There will be food, a live swing band
- Cash bar provided by Thirsty Ear Pub (ID required)
- All MIT graduate students are welcome
- Semi-formal attire is strongly suggested.
- Cost: This is a FREE semi-formal event
- Details: 6pm - Dinner begins/ 6-7pm - Swing dance lessons
