*Graduate Community Fellow*

Graduate Community Fellows are a cadre of graduate students who work
in the various departments of the Graduate Students Office and on
projects and assignments that enhance the life of graduate students
in unique ways. Fellows work on specific assignments and report to a
senior staff member in the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education.
Together, Fellows receive training in areas such as project management
and managing meetings and also serve as an important conduit for
informing the dean and staff about the graduate student experience.

This Fellow supports the Graduate Student Councils initiatives by
working closely with, and reporting to, the Graduate Student Council
and the Dean of Graduate Education.

The work primarily involves assistance in planning events and programs
that best serve the vision and goals of GSC Orientation.

Necessary skills include some web development; conference experience
(participation in events as a student attendee is sufficient);
willingness to work as a team; strong organizational skills; ability
to work independently.
