*Cigarette-Extinguishing Device Competition*
Build a cigarette-extinguishing device - win $750!
To mark this year's Great American Smokeout on November 20,
MIT Medical is sponsoring a "Kick Butt" design contest.
The goal is for teams of two to six people to build a deliberately
over-engineered mechanical apparatus that will perform the simple
task of extinguishing a cigarette in an extremely indirect and
convoluted fashion.
**The winning team gets $750**
See the contest web page for detailed rules
and an online registration form.
