*GSC GRAD RAT COMMITTEE - Looking for new members*

Looking for new committee members and new grad rat chair for the year
2008-2009.
Please email gsc-ring-balfour at mit.edu if interested.
Last day to apply is August 15th

*2008 Roommate Get-Togethers*

We again will be holding roommate get-togethers during the month of  
August.  They are to assist members of the MIT community in locating  
off campus housing.  All members of the MIT Community are welcome!
Location:	Off Campus Housing Service
		E19-429
Hours:		5:00PM to 6:30PM
Dates:		Monday, August 11, 2008
		Monday, August 18, 2008
		Monday, August 25, 2008
If you have a space in your apartment or are looking for a shared or  
roommate situation, feel free to join us.
Refreshments will be served!

*International Development (IDDS) Presentations and Reception*

Join us on Weds, August 6, from 4-6pm for the final presentations,  
poster session and reception that constitute the finale of the  
International Development Design Summit (IDDS) at MIT! <http:// 
iddsummit.org/>

Meet IDDS participants from 20 countries, and learn about their work  
and their communities -- as well as Public Service Center funding  
resources that may enable you to work with them in-country, if you're  
an MIT graduate or undergraduate student.

You can also meet representatives from the The MIT International  
Development Network <http://web.mit.edu/idn/getinvolved.html> and the  
MIT International Development Initiative <http://web.mit.edu/idi/ >

We'll be serving some tasty hors d'oeuvres (both veggie and carne)  
towards the larger goal of helping connect people from throughout MIT  
and our greater-Cambridge international development community with  
one another and with our visiting IDDS participants.
