A search committee is being formed to find the new Assistant Manager
of Event Operations within the Campus Activities Complex (CAC). A
student advisor is needed on this search committee to give input in
finding the ideal candidate for the position.

please contact gsc-president at mit.edu by Thursday, July 3rd.

*Writing Center will be open this Summer!*
For the first time in its 26-year history, MIT's Writing and
Communication Center will be open during the summer. The new hours
are the result of special funding from Dean Steven Lerman and the
Office of the Dean for Graduate Education, Dean Deborah Fitzgerald
and the Office of Dean of School of Humanities and Social Sciences,
and Assoc. Provost Claude Canizares. The basic concept is to make the
Center's professional consultants available for graduate students
and post-docs during the summer months.
the Writing Center will be open from:
July 1-August 22, Monday through Friday,
from 10:a.m.-noon, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Appointments will be made on the online scheduler
and there will also be the possibility of dropping in.
