[Gsc-anno] Super Bowl Celebration

Dear all graduate students:

Thanks to funding from the Division of Student Life, we are happy to
announce that all students will have the opportunity to join in a Super
Bowl celebration this Sunday, February 3.  Please join fellow students at
the Thirsty Ear Pub or the Muddy Charles Pub, where funding has been
provided for free food.  Additionally, the offices of the Campus Activities
Complex, Student Activities, and Community Development and Substance Abuse
are planning a celebration with free food in the MIT Student Center.  The
GSC supports these events and hopes that you will attend them.

The safety and security of all students is important to MIT.  We hope that
every student will take advantage of these close-to-home celebrations and
refrain from joining crowds that may gather in the neighborhoods surrounding
MIT during or after the game.  The purpose of this funding is to give
everyone an outlet to celebrate safely.  Area police departments will be
on high alert to disperse crowds and suppress public gatherings in the
event of a Patriots' win or loss.

Please look for fliers and messages about these Super Bowl events, and
plan to attend.  Regardless of which team you're rooting for, you'll have
a great time!
