*Nanotech at MIT*
It's a Small World! Learn about the various aspects of nanotechnology
and the ways in which MIT is paving the way in this field at a special
broadcast for students and alumni sponsored by the MIT Alumni Association,
November 15, 6:30 p.m., Kirsch Auditorium in the Stata Center (32-132).
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with the MIT community, network
with alumni, and learn about the amazing world at the nano level. The
program will begin with a networking reception followed by a live panel
discussion that will be broadcast nationally. Learn more and register
at http://alum.mit.edu/broadcasts.

*Official Graduate Student Cost of Living Survey*
We would like you to participate in a *short 10-minute survey* on your
cost of living and preferences for dental care. The information obtained
from you and other students will help us recommend rates for stipends and
on-campus housing rents. It will also allow us to evaluate options for
more systematic dental care for graduate students.
The survey is entirely voluntary and you may answer as few or as many
questions as you wish. All of your responses will be kept strictly
confidential.
Go to the following link to begin the survey:
http://web.mit.edu/surveys/grad/costofliving/
Your participation is very important and greatly appreciated!

*Graduate Residence Tutor Positions - Be a GRT!*
Every year Residential Life opens 15-25 Graduate Resident Tutor (GRT)
positions. These 08-09 Academic Year assignments can provide amazing
opportunities and benefits for MIT Graduate Students, i.e. FREE on-campus
housing, a meal discount, and larger networking circle. This year the
search for GRTs is happening earlier than ever before! Our last
information session will be held in the "Penthouse" of Eastgate on
December 3rd and the deadline for applications is December 20th, 2007
(nearly a month and a half earlier than previous years).
