*Plan Grad Gala, 2008!*


Want to help plan a classy night of fun for your grad school peers?  Join
the Graduate Gala Planning Committee, and be a part of planning the largest,
most anticipated social event of the year!

The GSC Activities Committee is recruiting interested students to begin
organizing this unforgettable event.  Following the success of the first
annual Gala, next year's Gala will take place in early May, but planning is
already underway.

Don't miss out!  Please send a brief statement of interest and summary of
any relevant experiences to gsc-ac at mit.edu.  Experience is not necessary,
so apply today!

*GSC Webmaster & Career Fair Webmaster Needed*

The GSC needs a new webmaster! Are you a current MIT Graduate student with
experience in web development and an interest in student leadership? Then
this position is for you! Besides monetary compensation (see below!) the
position allows you to gain recognition campus-wide for maintaining a site
that is visited hundreds of times a day by many people within and outside
of the MIT community.

We need to fill this position soon, so apply now!

The MIT Career Fair needs a new webmaster! Gain recognition for maintaining
a site that is visited thousands of times by people within and outside of
the MIT community, including representatives from hundreds of companies!

Pay: $1500, plus a significant bonus for successful completion

Start Date: Mid-June

Commitment: At least till the end of Sept 2007, preferably longer!

You must be a current MIT student. Please check with your department to see
if you are eligible to work and earn money in addition to any stipend or
fellowship you may be receiving.

*Redesign the GradRat - Join the GradRat Committee*

GradRat Committee wants YOU!!

The GradRat, official ring for MIT graduate students, is redesigned once
every five years and is up for a redesign this coming (07/08) year!  We are
looking for five enthusiastic students to serve on the committee.  Committee
members will be intimately involved with designing the new GradRat, leading
the process while incorporating ideas and visions from the entire graduate
community.  It's an exciting opportunity to leave your mark!

Interested?  Contact gradrat at mit.edu by June 25, 2007.  We are also looking
for a committee chair; please let us know if you are interested in serving
as Chair.
