Officers, please see the descriptions as listed on the GSC website:
http://web.mit.edu/gsc/www/about/committees/

I urge all current Council Representatives to make sure any remaining open
seats in their Department, Dorm, etc... are filled so as to assure that the
needs of their constituencies are properly represented at the Election.
Council Representatives, as the official representatives of the graduate
student community at MIT, have the duty to elect Officers who will cast
personal agendas aside and best represent the interests and edicts of the
Graduate Student Body to the Administration of MIT.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and I hope to see many of you
at the events preceding the election.

the ceremony with your nominee.
Nomination of students and faculty for these awards offer a unique
opportunity to honor these individuals for their invaluable contributions
to graduate students and to thank them for their efforts. A complete
nomination requires a supporting statement not to exceed one page or 500
words. Although there are no hard and fast guidelines, a strong nomination
is likely to include high quality statement clearly describing relevant
accomplishments, any specific task, and/or incidents reflecting nominee's
dedication and genuine interest. The number of nominations, particularly
from different individuals (students and faculty), each candidate receives
also reflects the strength.
