The Career Fair is coming!
Thursday, September 23rd

Johnson Athletic Center and Rockwell Cage (Finance and Consulting)

Over 200 companies and organizations will be attending the 2004 Fall Career
Fair this year.

Follow these three basic steps to prepare for a successful day at the Career
Fair:
1. Prepare a resume and submit it online at http://career-fair.mit.edu to be
included on the Resume CD that will be given to all companies attending the
Career Fair.
2. Determine which companies you would be interested in working for, and
research them. A complete list of companies is available at
http://career-fair.mit.edu.
3. Meet the representatives of the companies you are interested in working
for at the Career Fair.

Come volunteer for the largest Career Fair at MIT
The 2004 MIT Career Fair will attract over 200 companies and over 5000 
students. Volunteers will have excellent opportunities to interact with 
employers and have the satisfaction of helping out with one of the largest 
career fairs in the New England Area. Come to our volunteer meeting on 
Thursday, Sep 16 (7:30pm-8:30pm) in 4-270. Snacks and beverages will be

Register to Vote in the U.S. National Elections
The Graduate Student Council wants you to make your voice heard and vote in 
the 2004 United States Presidential Elections! Working with the 
Undergraduate Association, we are putting together a wide series of events 
to educate people on the voting system and promote discussion and debate. 
Most of all, we are trying to get people registered to vote in the elections.

Open Institute Committee Representatives
The Graduate Student Council is looking for graduate student to be involved 
in the MIT institute committees. If you are interested, please fill out an 
Application for Committee Nomination. The GSC Nominations Committee will 
review your application and interview you before making a decision 
regarding your application. You may apply for however many committees you 
are interested in.

Weekly Wednesdays Celebrates 2 Years!
Join us this Wednesday from 8 pm on for Weekly Wednesday at the Muddy 
Charles Pub featuring free wings and veggies.  Weekly Wednesdays began in 
the fall semester of 2002 and has happened most Wednesdays since (missing 
only a few holidays).  WW is sponsored by the Graduate Students Office and 
is co-sponsored by departments and groups from all over campus.  Come out 
for our big 2 year anniversary party to celebrate what you've been a part 
of for the last two years or to check it out for the first time.
