[Glass-mit] 2023 Hazlegrove Lecture in Glass Art

Hello all,
I'm excited to announce that on October 26th at 6PM in room 10-250, the
2023 Page Hazlegrove lecturer will be James Carpenter, founder of James
Carpenter Design Associates in New York City. Carpenter gave one of the
first the Hazlegrove Lectures (2000), and has accomplished so much in the
nearly quarter century since then that we thought it fitting to invite him
back.
Carpenter will focus upon a nearly 50 year trajectory of work that brings
agency to the presence of light. The work of his studio uses light as the
key organizing principle, embodying a deeper connection to the presence of
nature within the built environment. This lecture is free and open to the
public.
