Hello Friends of the MIT Glass Lab,
I'm writing to let you know about some things that are going on this fall
in the Glass Lab. There is a lot going on!
*The MIT Great Glass Pumpkin Patch *is on Saturday, September 28th. You
probably know this, since I've sent out a few emails about it, but I am
hoping that a lot of lab people will help at the sale, and if you are
planning on selling personal pumpkins, you should definitely plan on
helping at the sale and/or with Friday setup.
There will be a reception for the MIT Glass Lab's show, *Reverse Reactions*,
at the *Fuller Museum *on Sunday, September 29th from 2-5PM, in Brockton,
MA. Maybe we can arrange a caravan of people to go down! Yes, this is the
day after the Pumpkin Patch, and if we have to hold the sale on the rain
day, then the opening will happen without us and we'll go down the
following Saturday, the last day of the show.
*The Page Hazlegrove Lecture in Glass Art *will feature artist Jackie
Pancari on Thursday, October 24th at 6:30 PM*. *Lecture hall TBA, but save
the date. She is a wonderful speaker. You can find out more about her work
by going to: http://jackiepancari.com/home.html

That's all for now. Keep your eyes on the website for emerging details.

cheers,

Peter
