 We are announcing the start of the Masters Degree Education in Glass

 in Art and Science at the New University of Lisbon (Universidade Nova

 de Lisboa) in Portugal in September of this year, 2009. If you are

 interested in our program, please consult our online site at

 that program for potentially interested students.



 Faculty:

 Michael Taylor, Richard Meitner, Fernando António Baptista, Jorge

 Vidal, Pedro Fortuna, António Pires de Matos, Elvira Fortunato,

 Fernando Pina, Maria Margarida Lima, Pedro Redol, Robert Wiley.



For the Master’s program we will organize also short workshops during the
two years.

We already have assurances for the collaboration of a great number of
internationally  prominent experts and industry specialists: Carlo Pantano,
David Martlew, David Pye, Jutta Page, Michael Rogers, Paul Marioni, Robert
H. Brill , Susanne Frantz, Joerg Hanowski, Sidónio Silva, Fernando
Esperança, Pedro Barosa, William Gudenrath and William Traver. There are
others who will join also.



Tuition = 4500 Euros/year in 3 instalments   (=U.S.$ 6000)

Cost of living is around 1300$/month including food, lodging and
transportation.

Student housing can be found near the campus and there is a metro and train
to downtown Lisbon with a stop right next to the University. The beach at
Caparica is 5 minutes by car from our campus.
