Subject: 2007 MIT Great Glass Pumpkin Patch

Dear Friends of the Glass Lab and the Pumpkin Patch,

This is a last call for volunteers who can work the sale on Saturday
10/6 from 9:00 AM until at least 1 or 2 PM.  We have had a very good
response so far, and so far we have about as many people as we had
last year.

This year, however, in an effort to improve efficiency, I would like
to add some volunteers: we'll add another wrapping line, and put
monitors on every receipt writing and paying line to make sure that
customers aren't in the wrong lines (this really makes people mad when
they have to go into another line after waiting in the wrong one for a
long time). I envision adding about 15 more volunteers to the number
we had last year.

So please, if you know someone who might like to come along, or you
have been thinking about volunteering but sitting on the fence, now is
the time to come forward!! We need you!
