To all glass enthusiasts,
      The following is a correspondence between Susie Shapiro and Karen Davis
of the Cambridge Historical Society about a fundraiser (for the CHS) that will
take place at Avon Place Glass (147 Sherman Street, Cambridge), on April 30.
As I understand it, the event will include a lecture/ slide show about the
once very prominent glass industry in Cambridge, as well as appraisals, by a
professional expert, of glass objects, and glass blowing demos. It should be fun
and educational.
