You are cordially invited to the
Eighth Annual Page Hazlegrove Lecture in Glass Art
Guest speaker Larry Bell
Wong Auditorium at the Tang Center
Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 PM
Larry Bell, who lives in Taos, New Mexico, was one of the leading
proponents of the Minimalist sculpture movement in the 1970s. During
this period, he started making elegant and mysterious large-scale
works using industrial plate glass coated with reflective metals.
Since that time, Bell has gone on to work with other materials as
well, recently producing large-scale sculpture in metal, as well as
smaller works on paper. He will talk about his artwork, both past and
present.

We hope to see you there,
Terri Matsakis
