[GAMBIT-UROPS-summon] UROP Positions available at the GAMBIT Game Lab - Open House, Friday, Sep 9th, 4:30p-6pm

Would you like to make games as a UROP at the GAMBIT Game Lab during this Fall?
Please come to our Open House on Friday, September 9th, from 4:30p-6pm in the lab TV Lounge (NE25-3rd floor)
All of our UROP positions are 6-10 hours of work per week in a team environment and on-site at the GAMBIT Game Lab. You can work for credit (6-12 credits) or pay (the standard UROP rate of $9.75/hour). All positions are open to anyone eligible for an MIT UROP.

We are hiring for the following positions for either pay or credit:
11 Programmers
- Languages/environments we'll be using this semester include: Actionscript, Javascript, C#, Unity, and Gameduino/Arduino
- previous experience preferred, either on the job/UROP experience with the language in use, or relevant coursework
2 Quality Assurance Interns (half-time)
1 Producer
- split between two projects, responsible for organizing tasks and packaging deliverables
- previous team project experience preferred, or relevant coursework
2 Research Assistants
- focused on games studies and player studies
- research tasks include: running interviews & focus tests, and transcribing
- previous experience preferred, especially CMS.100 and CMS.300
1 Arduino Hardware creator
- previous experience with Arduino preferred
- requires access to electronics equipment (we don't have facilities for this in our lab)

- Audio-only Games
- Narrative Design & Emergent AI
- Science Technology Engineering & Math Education
- Serious Games
- Procedural Puzzle Generation
- Tools for Annotating Games
