The projects we are working on this Fall will be described in length at this event. Here is a short version of the type of work that you could work on:

Antigone: we've created 2 games based on Sophocles' Theban plays (Seer and Yet One Word) and will be working on paper prototypes for a third game in the series

Click-to-Speak: we created a game engine for creating one-button audio-centric games in Flash and will be creating a sample game with this engine

Clockwork: a game that we've been working on for the past year that needs a final polish pass on programming, UI, and audio integration

Flixel Library: many of our games use the Flixel library for ActionScript. There are some problems we've come across that we'd like to explore and solve (one of which is creating a generic Sound Manager for our future games)

Symon: one of the games we created this past summer is a point-and-click adventure game that currently only supports a few types of puzzles. We have the basic code for more puzzle types that we'd like to bug-fix and implement this Fall

QA Team: our QA team will be working with the developers on these projects to stress- and bug-test them, as well as arrange focus testing during the semester

---

Most of our hiring is done via the MIT UROP program, more info about which is here: http://web.mit.edu/urop

After the Open House, I will arrange interviews as necessary for the following Monday and Tuesday. Final decision will be made by Wednesday morning. UROP Proposals (sent to the UROP office) are then due at 4pm on Thursday, September 16th.
