Subject: Gaming Contest
I want to introduce my company (Zoo Entertainment; http://www.zoogamesinc.com<http://www.zoogamesinc.com/>) and myself, as we are interested in offering your students an opportunity to work with us in a gaming contest that we are currently holding.
Zoo Entertainment is a developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software targeted to family-oriented mass-market consumers. With a strong network of leading national mass-market retailers, its casual and value-focused titles span categories including sports, family, racing, game show, strategy and action-adventure, among others.
indiePub, the offshoot of Zoo, is a content creation website for indie developers set on fostering the independent gaming community. indiePub Games provides developers with the resources they need to make great games, and gives them an outlet to share their works with a supportive audience. Independent game developers are able to collaborate with the gaming community and ultimately compete for multi-platform publishing contracts. indiePub Games also serves as a destination site for gaming enthusiasts to play the latest in independent games and allows consumers to take an active role in helping independent developers create innovative entertainment software.
Currently at indiePub we are holding a mobile game competition, in which I would like to personally invite your students to participate in, if interested. The rules of the competition can be found at http://www.indiepubgames.com/contest.php. The grand prize will be $25K, a major boost to anyone earning an education at this time, and may help them jump-start their career in game development and design.
Please note that even though this is titled a mobile competition, we are open to submissions, which fall under the requirements posted in therules section. Still, we hold contests regularly, even for those that are not on mobile platforms, and recently gave away $100K to a development team in Austin, Texas as the GDC http://www.indiepubgames.com/news/3rd-developer-competition-winner-announced.
Again, I welcome your students to submit their concepts and ideas for the competition and wish them all the best in their gaming careers!
Cheers,
Sara Johnson | Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist
