[galib] Parameter Names and Command-Line Options

Hello,


i´m searching for the meanings of the "Parameter Names and Command-Line Options" as shown in the API.html. 
The most of them is quite clear, but as i´m a beginner with GA not all are 
obvious for me.

For example "migration_percentage" or "migration_number" is for me not clear.
Often i can imagine the meaning, but a clear definition would be better.

Are there some papers which explains the semantic of this GA keywords used in the "Parameter Names and Command-Line Options"?
