[galib] How co compile galib with VC++ 6.0

Hello,

can anybody give me some hints how to compile the galib with  VC++ 6.0?
I´m new with VC++ 6.0 and galib.
I downloaded the projectfile for VC++5.0 here: 
http://lancet.mit.edu/ga/dist/project_files/

But out of the box it doesn´t work for me. Can anybody give me some clues?
