[galib] Compiling

Hello,
 
I have a simple question. I have modified in tha ga directory a file named "GAStatistics.C". So, in order to see the modification I have made the process of (a) make, (b) make test, (c) make install. 
 
However, I can not see the changes. What else shold I do?
