help! error in borland c++builder 6

Dear all,
I tried everything to get galib running in borland c++builder 6, with no
success...

* renamed *.c to *.cpp
* corrected names in includes
* tried serveral compiler options

I still get the error message:

"[C++ Error] GA1DArrayGenome.Cpp(357): E2178 VIRDEF-name
conflict'GARealAlleleSet::allele() const' "

Please, help me to solve this problem.
