You will need to derive your new class, in order to get what do you need.
Read the GAlib's doc
"This document describes how to extend GAlib's capabilities by defining your
own genomes and genetic operators. The best way to customize the behavior of
an object is to derive a new class. If you do not want to do that much work,
GAlib is designed to let you replace behaviors of existing objects by
defining new functions."

Subject: periodicity
Dear all,
I am trying to let the GA make adjustments every x
generations. Through statistics I can invoke the number of the
current generation, but how can the GA do this while evolving?
Being no expert on C++, any help is welcome.
Thanks, Sanne.
