It might be a bit late, but the /Tp switch tells the compiler to treat all
source files as C++ whether or not they have a .cpp extension.

fatal error C1189: #error : "eh.h is only for c++!"

I am having this error and saw you were trying to solve it and was asking
for clarifications regarding a \Tp switch. Can you please let me know if you
solved it? Its sort of an emmergency and I need hte info before 9-00 today.
