[MIT Friends of Arts] Boston Pops: Out of this World

Dear Friends of the Arts,
Hope you are enjoying the end of the semester. Let's celebrate by having a
nice dinner and going to an awesome Boston Pop concert! We are having our
first summer event *this Friday, May 23,* when the BSO Pops is having a
concert with theme "Out of this World". Below is the program, you don't
want to miss it if you are a fan of Holst, Williams or other space-themed
music:
"Music will including Holst's The Planets (performed alongside a film by
astronomer Jose Francisco Salgado, PhD, featuring NASA visuals), the theme
from Star Trek, the classical works (Also Sprach Zarathustra and Blue
Danube Waltz) popularized in 2001:A Space Odyssey, and John Williams's
intergalactic music from Star Wars, E.T., and Close Encounters of the Third
Kind."
