Dear Colleague:

The Center for Global Change Science, the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAPS), and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, cordially invites you to attend the Eleventh Annual Henry W. Kendall Memorial Lecture to be presented by the Honorable Lisa Perez Jackson, Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

The lecture will be given on Friday, April 15, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sala de Puerto Rico, MIT Student Center, Building W20, Room 202, 2nd floor.  A reception will be held immediately following the lecture in Twenty Chimneys [W20-Room 306, 3rd floor].  All are cordially invited.

Henry W. Kendall was a Nobel Laureate in Physics and an MIT Professor with a deep commitment to understanding and finding solutions to the multiple environmental problems facing the world today and in the future.  The permanently endowed Kendall Lecture allows MIT faculty and students to be introduced to forefront areas in global change science by leading researchers.
