Across the Great Divide - Complex Science made Accessible in Smithsonian
Ocean: Our Water Our World

 

In a recent national study of ocean literacy, Massachusetts, with hundreds
of miles of coastline, rich maritime heritage, and abundant colleges and
universities, received an F.  Deborah Cramer, Visiting Scholar at the Earth
System Initiative, discusses how her new book, the companion to a new,
permanent ocean hall at the country's most heavily visited museum brings
marine science to a broader audience.
