Join us as MIT celebrates Earth Day 2009 with a week of events. Come  
learn, share, get inspired, and have fun! Free food, massages, live  
entertainment, "how to" greening workshops, and raffle at the Earth  
Day Fair!

MIT Earth Day Fair: Sustainability In Action

11am - 2pm

Attend one of four engaging Sustainability in Action Workshops during  
the Fair and learn how you can reduce your footprint. Workshop

Lundin (Sustainability at MIT)

Learn the facts behind your transportation footprint and get started  
on greening the way you get around.

11:45 - Reducing Your Computing Energy Footprint: Laxmi Rao (MIT  
Information Services and Tech.(IS&T))

You have the power to make a difference and save the Earth - one watt  
at a time. Learn about ways of saving I.T. Energy and reducing your  
computing footprint at MIT.

12:15 - Recycling @ MIT: Ruth Davis (MIT Dept. of Facilities)

Come learn about new developments in MIT's recycling program and how  
you can make the most of our program to save money and lighten your  
impact.

12:45 - Composting with Worms: Ryan Gray (MIT Libraries)

Food waste accounts for up to 45% of all landfilled "trash." A very  
easy solution exists: compost with worms in your home, office, or  
practically anywhere. Learn how now!
