[E&E seminars] two hydrology seminars this week: Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th November

Hi everyone,

 

This week we have two hydrology seminars at special times.

 

The first is tomorrow (Tuesday 6th November) at 4pm, in room 48-308. This
seminar will be given by Luis Garrote from Dep. Ingeniería Civil: Hidráulica
y Energética, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. The topic of Luis’
presentation is “Probabilistic models for decision support during floods”.

An abstract of Luis’ presentation is attached.

 

The second seminar this week will be on Thursday, 8th November, at 1:30pm in
room 48-308. This seminar will be given by David Goodrich, Research
Hydraulic Engineer, USDA-ARS, Southwest Watershed Research Center, Tucson.
The topic of David’s presentation is “Integration of Science and Decision
Making for Watershed Management”.

An abstract of David’s presentation is also attached.
