[Env seminars] Environmental Careers Panel and EnviroClasses update

Two Laboratory for Energy and the Environment (LFEE) announcements of
interest (please accept apologies for any cross-postings):

 

1. The LFEE, in conjunction with the MIT Careers Office, will sponsor a
panel discussion entitled "ENVIRONMENTAL CAREERS" next TUESDAY, JANUARY 25,
at 3:00 p.m., in room 4-237.  

Panelists are MIT Alumni:

James Hamilton, Managing Director of Conservation Law Foundation Ventures,
Inc.; 

Ray Harpin, Senior Geologist, Action Environmental, Inc.; 

Alix van Geel, Environmental Consultant, Industrial Economics, Inc.; and 

Sharon Marie Weber, Source Monitoring Supervisor, Massachusetts Department
of Environmental Protection.  

 

They will talk about their work, their fields, and their careers.  Please
see (and post if you can) the attached flyer.  Pre-registration (
web.mit.edu/career/www/events/workshops.html ) is recommended.

 

2.  The LFEE's EnviroClasses Website has been updated and is accessible at
