WebMD

WebMD provides health information services to over 35MM consumers and 85% of all
practicing physicians each month. The WebMD Health Network consists of
www.WebMD.com, its primary portal for consumers, and www.Medscape.com
(Medscape), its primary portal for physicians and other healthcare
professionals.

WebMD makes money by selling large advertising programs to help
healthcare/pharmaceutical and consumer products companies to communicate a
health claim or a larger ?brand claim?. An example: WebMD writes and
promotes an article about foods that irritate your stomach, and sells the
advertising around this article to a company that manufactures and markets a
stomach-friendly coffee.

CPG Strategic Development Group
The CPG Strategic Development group consists of former consultants from Bain,
McKinsey, BCG and others. The group is charged with going after the largest
consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales opportunities. These opportunities exist
with the largest marketers in the world, including: Coca Cola, Proctor and
Gamble, Unilever, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi, CVS and others.

Responsibilities
Account Research & Analysis: You will utilize internet research, internal
resources public filings, analyst reports to develop succinct insights into the
background of specific brands and their marketing needs.

Solution Development: You will utilize the account research to help
?kick-start? the process of creating a custom advertising solution. You
will assist your manager in working with the marketing team to develop a solid
solution.

Sales Presentation Design: You will assist your manager and the sales team to
develop presentations, ?pitch books?, pricing strategies and negotiation
tactics to be used in pitches of multi-million dollar deals with clients.

Requirements
In-Office: 45 hours each week (9am-6pm).
WebMD is located at 111 8th Ave (15th & 16th St)
Compensation: $14/hour

Skills Preferred:
PowerPoint; Excel; Writing Skills
Management majors preferred
Marketing, Sales or Entrepreneurial interest preferred



Timing
