1) The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) has several
Internships open particularly in the Environmental and Biology field. In
addition, we have projects available in other Science Engineering and
Technology Disciplines. Internships are available for both graduate and
undergraduate students worldwide.
(ORISE) is a U.S. Department of Energy contractor focusing on scientific
initiatives to research health risks, medical technology, assess
environmental cleanup, respond to radiation medical emergencies, support
national security and emergency preparedness, and educate the next
generation of scientists. Paid internship assignments are offered
throughout the year at various federal facilities across the U.S. and
Europe. This program is intended to enhance the students' educational
development by providing practical research experiences closely related to
their academic pursuits. US citizens only due to security requirements.
Full time Internships as well as summer internships are available through
the U.S. Army Environmental Center (USAEC), U.S. Center for Health
Promotion and Preventive Medicine (USACHPPM), US Army Research Lab (USARL),
U.S. Army Test Center (USATC), U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of
