[Editors] Update on MIT Drupal Cloud

I wanted to share a message from Myra Hope Eskridge, the IS&T business systems analyst who is leading the effort to improve MIT's Drupal Cloud service for building websites. With no further ado, here it is.

At a recent meeting, Editors’ Club members shared questions and concerns about ease of use, plans for enhancements, and other elements of the MIT Drupal Cloud platform. After hearing this feedback, IS&T's senior leadership asked me to lead a working group to assess the Drupal Cloud service overall.
 
We have convened and identified these primary areas of work:
       Refine our Drupal Cloud support model 
       Improve our documentation and training media
       Install updates to the Drupal core version and current Drupal modules, as well as bug and security fixes
       Begin to identify a roadmap for Drupal Cloud enhancements 
That last bullet is key: many of you are Drupal Cloud users and therefore our best source of feedback. We anticipate that the work outlined above will take us through August. As the work progresses, I will keep you posted and look for your input on the shape of the MIT Drupal Cloud service moving forward. 

Together we can make this service easier to use and to customize. Thanks in advance for collaborating with us.
