*Meeting Notes from September 19, 2014*

*New Podcast*

Ken Gagne, web producer for MIT Medical, told us about a new podcast his office is producing. "Conversations with MIT Medical" <http://medweb.mit.edu/about/news/article/podcast-140821.html> includes 10-minute interviews with primary care providers, pharmacists, and other staff in the department on a variety of topics of interest to the MIT community. Ken launched with 12 podcasts, and is recording more all the time.

Are any other MIT communications shops producing podcasts? Ken noticed that Medical's is the only one on MIT Connect<http://connect.mit.edu>. I thought of Alum Book Podcast<https://soundcloud.com/mitalumni>, the Alumni Association podcast by Joe McGonegal on books written by MIT alumni; are there any others out there?

There's one in particular that I think almost everyone in this group will find of interest: Best of MIT: Social Media Case Studies. It's in December.
