Hi Nicolene

There's about 20 accounts with Regonline at MIT; the account manager's name is Fred Sumner (Fred.Sumner at lanyon.com<mailto:Fred.Sumner at lanyon.com>). It's a simple system to use, but does take time to set up. Make sure you get MIT's rate, which is $3.55 per registration (the system charges) and if you use their credit card processing (as opposed to MIT Merchant Services), it's 3.95 % on every transaction I beleieve.

For one one-off conference/event, it's much easier to go through Conference Services. The charge for their service is 30% mark-up (yikes), but save a LOT of time and effort setting up Regonline yourself.

If you're hosting an event where you are not going to charge, then Eventbrite is your best bet, because they do not charge registration fee for non-profit free events.

MIT Does NOT want us using Acteva - I believe there is a lawsuit going on with them because they were not paying out on revenue due.

I agree - Eventbrite<http://www.eventbrite.com/> is great, stay away from Acteva !
