People attending this meeting noted a few upcoming events that many of us may be interested in.

First, Ken Gagne of MIT Medical reminded the group that it's time again for flu shots. The next walk-in clinic on campus is October 22 in the Walker Memorial Lobby from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. For more, and for other clinics that are off campus, go to http://medweb.mit.edu/about/news/flu/vaccinations.php

Remember to bring your MIT ID and to wear short sleeves. You should be in and out in 5 minutes, Ken says.

Denis Paiste of the Materials Processing Center invites everyone to attend Materials Day on October 21. The event, which will focus on New Frontiers in Metals Processing, is free but you must register<http://mpc-www.mit.edu>.
