Good morning,
After completing an extensive pilot phase, Information Services and Technology (IS&T) is pleased to offer the Drupal Cloud Service<http://drupalcloud.mit.edu/> to the MIT community.
As a community member, you can use Drupal Cloud to build dynamic, easy-to-update websites for your department, lab or center, your club or organization, your research, or yourself.
The Drupal Cloud Service provides many benefits:
* It's offered at no cost to the community
* IS&T hosts, secures, and keeps your site up-to-date with the latest modules and security patches
* Your site will be in the .mit.edu domain: mysite.mit.edu
* The customization tools make it relatively easy to build a great website
* Your site will be mobile-ready - out of the box - instantly optimized not only for computers, but also for mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets
* It includes commonly used tools like MIT Touchstone, integration with the Events Calendar, Biblio for managing academic publications, as well as modules for blogging and news articles
Ultimately you get an MIT website that's relatively easy to create and update. IS&T maintains the code so you can focus on producing and presenting great content!
