Great suggestions, everyone.

Many people on campus use Constant Contact, including myself. Benefits to Constant Contact are that they also manage event registration, social media integration, surveys, etc. For social media, they support social campaigns and you can integrate email list sign up as an app on your FB page (e.g., SA+P<https://www.facebook.com/sapmit/app_141428856257>). If you use HootSuite pro, you can show your email opens and clicks analytics right in HootSuite along with your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. info.

Constant Contact is only one choice, but there are others.

If you are taking a segmented approach to communications by using several different tools, it may be using up work time you could spend on other things.

If you are thinking of starting mass emails/email marketing, or if you would like to improve your already existing email marketing, don't hesitate to ask me for help. I know a lot of you come to me for social media, but email marketing is also part of what I do! :-)

Stephanie

Does anyone have suggestions for a co-worker who asks, "What would be a simple mechanism for mass e-mailings for an upcoming conference notification, requests for abstracts, etc.?"
