[Editors] QR codes in higher ed: blog posting

Just got back from the webinar hosted by the PSB called "Writing Right for the Web: Social Media, Mobile, and Traditional Sites." (Thanks, PSB!)
The leader of the seminar, Bob Johnson, talked about....QR codes. In his most recent blog posting, link below, he talks about their value in marketing for higher education. Among other tips: If you create a QR code for your department, etc., DO NOT have it go to the landing page of a traditional web site. It's just too hard to read on a mobile device. RATHER, have it link to a mobile-friendly landing page. The City University of New York does this well.
