[Editors] your help for a google logo for MIT's 150th birthday, April 10

Hello my fellow editors,
I had an idea that for MIT's 150th birthday on Sunday, google should have an MIT-themed logo for its home page with a link to the 150th website. I sent a request to the designated email address but it felt a bit like sending into a black hole.

I'd like to ask your help: if you agree and are so inclined, please email proposals at google.com the suggestion of doing this. Below is my forwarded email if you'd even just want to cut and paste.

I figured my email could be overlooked, but a group of like-minded emails all from @mit.edu might get noticed. 

I checked in with the 150th folks and have their blessing on trying to do this. It would be fabulous (and great PR).

Sunday, April 10, 2011 is the 150th birthday for MIT - it seemed logical for there to be a google logo for it!

It could be as easy and the MIT dome in one of the "o"s and a link to the 150th birthday page: http://mit150.mit.edu/  (just an idea)
